Round Bridgwater series

Bridget has been working on this series of circle paintings over the last five years – searching Bridgwater for unusual unnoticed gems out and about in our streets, the river, parks and road landscapes, observing in all weathers and changing lighting these commonplace objects come to brilliant colourful life under her brush. Expressing Bridgwater’s colourful atmosphere in spirit, all using a style she calls X’tract art.

The body of work, each vibrantly different, numbers over 60 paintings – more than will fit into the gallery in one go, so have been split into two rounds.
Round One was on show from the 1st March 2023 and the second exhibition, Round Two, followed on the 5th April 2023.
