A Bridgwater Circle painting, a services cover image photographed behind the library in the grass at Blake park in Bridgwater, Somerset.
I was taken with the contrasting rich red rust and the steel turned blue by the sky’s reflection, festooned with spots and two handles, announcing the word ‘WREKIN’ in the middle of a rectangle heart at the centre of a big kiss shining in the sunlight. It reminded me of the inside of the TARDIS and it’s a common a garden object for all to see, blending in to its background. The letters forming the Tardis were initials for Time And Relative Dimension In Space, so I wonder what WREKIN means? Could it be a weird, kinetic-teleport pad? Interesting that visually the square canvas now it’s painted looks somehow rectangular.
