“For me the highlight of the weekend wasn’t the sweaty walls of the Cobblestones, the High-Temple of the Palace or the Altamontic would-be Woodstock of Blake Gardens, but the Bridgy Gallery, tucked away at the end of Old Taunton Road and situated next to a slightly too loud car wash. It was here I saw Jamie B, Bridgwater singer-guitarist-songwriter. In the genteel garden of the Bridgy Gallery surrounded by some 30 people, he sang his own songs and a few covers acoustically, He sang ‘what if you never believed in your abilities’ or ‘what if you lacked the facilities’.”
